For anyone wondering what to use for a top on a custom guitar, please check out the Wood Pile.      I will continue to add new pieces to the page as I sort them out, and as I acquire new wood.
   The new page can be reached from the "Options" page, or click anywhere on the link saying The wood pile and you'll get there.  I've also put a permanent link to the wood page to the right of this box for easy access.
 

   As most of my instruments are "one-offs"  (I tend to do each one a little different) the Custom page has ended up being a place where I display anything I build that I find interesting enough to merit a little extra exposure.  They may be "true" custom instruments where the customer has chosen specific materials or hardware or has had input in the design, or they may be guitars that are built to suit my own tastes.  The latter will usually go to one of my dealers, and might or might not end up as a stock instrument on the Standard pages at a later date.
