Hi Roger. I just wanted to thank you again for the incredible instrument.
The whole process was a fun adventure and a testimony to your patience
and creativity with me: The crazy client who wanted an new "old" guitar.
I'ts beyond what I was imagining and really makes me feel sorry for the rest.
There are not too many like you, with your detailed sense of what actually
made the old guitars great. You have found that element and for most it
is still elusive......
........Honestly, because music is so close to my heart, to have an instrument that
helps
me express myself even better, is really the ultimate thing that an instrument can be.
A finely crafted instrument allows the music to happen... It is just as important as the
musician... A marrige of sorts.
The love affair w/ having a "brand named" instrument, alot of times, is based on
hero worship...
which we all have succumbed to from time to time... That is part of being young...
People who really play well and appriciate the need for quality to give their music it's
full potiential, appriciate your work emensly... Remember that when you struggle w/ the
Fender and Gibson syndrome. Hey, I tell people I play a Giffin, and I'm proud of it!
All the best, I'm sure we'll talk soon. -- --- Robert
