My guitar arrived yesterday!!  When I plugged in the tracking number on UPS's website, the message was that it had been dropped at my door step. .  Needless to say I beat feet home immediately and Thank God, there it was sitting on my porch.  All's well that ends well!!

 

I don't know how to begin to heap the praise.  This guitar is absolutely stunning.  The bindings, color, finish, inlays and Lacewood top are impeccable in their detail.  I sat down and scrutinized the entire guitar for about thirty minutes before plucking the first note.  When I strummed the first chord the acoustical volume and tone of the guitar just leaped out at me.  When I finally plugged it into a Mesa Nomad 55 amp, I almost lost control of my body functions!  The tone, harmonics, and sustain are almost overwhelming.  Subtle changes in attack of the strings create amazing nuances to the sound and harmonics.  You were right on about the neck profile and radius as well.  It fits my hand like a glove and will facilitate better finger articulation. 

 

Going on blind faith and purchasing an instrument without playing it first was a bit unnerving, but I've got to say, watching the building process via emailed pictures and conversing with you through the entire process was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

 

I simply cannot imagine owning a better looking, better built, better sounding guitar.  I don't believe one exists at any price!  You are awesome!!!

 

I want another Giffin Guitar.
